New Room! I need help?

I get to decorate my new room and
i was thinking of painting one wall
a dark purple and
getting some dark blue duvet covers.
I'm 14 btw.
What else should i do?

I would suggest you paint the other three walls a cream color. This would make it neutral enough for you to use purple or/and dark blue as an accessory color on these walls. You can get a shelf and paint it purple (with your left over paint) if you would like. You could get pictures for your walls that have purple and/or dark blue in them also. Your curtains could be dark blue or purple. Whatever you can find in these colors could go in your room. Good luck.

i have horrible allergies all around, allergic to animals, trees, grass, plants, pollen, you name it, im probably allergic to it. hah. im just looking for a way to keep my bedroom as allergy free as possible, i clean it every other day, theres no carpet, hypoallergenic bedding and all that good stuff, cant really afford an air cleaner though, the problem being, i have cats in the house which im allergic to but i love them too much to get rid of them. im just looking for a way i can wake up without sneezing being the first thing and only thing i do until my meds kick in. thanks!
i take Zyrtec. you dont need a prescription to get it anymore, you can get it at any drugstore or target for a little cheaper.

Teen!?! I think is pretty childish. Like 10 or under. Think about when you hit 16, you are going to want something adultish perhaps one color.

Any color comforter (i suggest solid) would look good. Black and white furnishing (like the dresser, nightstand, etc.) is always nice. Vinyl floors are a great allturnative to carpet and it makes it look classy/modern.
