Whats the Difference Between Down And Down Alternative?

I want a down comforter but I don't want the feathers poking through. Is one warmer than the other?
Thanks!
Also they are talking about how many ounces they are.
What is a good ounce for a warm one?

The Best Type of Bed Pillow?

I like my pillows on my bed to be nice and big and fluffy. Every time I buy a new pillow within a few months it's flat as a pancake. Can anyone recommend a brand of pillow that will stay the same way I bought it? I need it to be hypoallergenic because I'm allergic to feathers. Thanks!

Is this a Dust Allergy Maybe?

This doesn't happen very often anymore but it use to happen regularly almost every night when I was younger. I would be just sitting there or maybe sleeping and then my chest would begin to tighten. It would tighten so bad that I had trouble breathing and then release. Then tighten again. This would go back and forth for what felt like forever. I learned that when my chest was tight it would help stop the pain if I took in a lot of really short breaths and then let the air out when my chest released.

It would only happen at night and once I was at my friend's house and it happened, and again when I was staying in a hotel with my bothers mom and grandpa.

I would also get hives a lot and my eyes and lips would be puffy when I got up in the morning. At first we thought it might be feathers from the comforter but It wouldn't always happen. I sleep with a feather pillow now and it's my favorite, I hardly ever have that sort of trouble. So could it be dust?
